Easy to find, just look for the sign.

Windsong is conveniently located in the North County area of San Diego, just off the I-15 Freeway. We are always happy to provide driving directions over the phone. For specific directions to the Resort, just click in the area you will be coming from on the map below:

From the I-15 & Deer Springs Road:

Go West and then make the Left turn at the frontage road - Mesa Rock Road. Heading South on Mesa Rock Road you'll pass the fire station, the Plant World Nursery (if you pass Tropic World Nursery, you're on the wrong side of the freeway), and the Belle Marie Winery (with the castle). As you go up a small grade, look to your right 100-150 feet up and you'll come to Windsong Lane. You can only make a Right turn onto Windsong and we are just past the blind curve, about 300 feet up Windsong on the Left: 1412 Windsong Lane.  The resort entrance is the next driveway after the stone and wrought iron gate.

These are just my recommendations. For more precise instructions and for printer friendly maps, I like the following site: Google Maps

It's a quick and easy trip if you take the back way (usually less than half an hour). Head East on either Via de la Villa or Lomas Santa Fe into the charming "downtown" part of Rancho Santa Fe. Proceed through town to the Del Dios highway which becomes West Valley Parkway. Just past the Auto Park Way is the I-15. Go under the freeway and stay in the left lane to get onto the I-15 North. Directions from Poway, Rancho Bernardo, Ramona, Lakeside, El Cajon

I really prefer to take the back roads especially during peak hours to get as far north as possible before getting on the I-15 North. I would suggest Google Maps since this area has a lot of options for directions. Once on the I-15, however, take the Deer Springs Rd exit toward Mountain Meadow Rd.. At the light (Deer Springs) turn Left ,which is West, over the freeway. At the second light, Mesa Rock Road, turn Left (South). Heading South on Mesa Rock Road you'll pass the fire station, the Plant World Nursery, and the Belle Marie Winery (with the castle).
